Experienced attorney Michael Vereen has been practicing law since 1988. With offices in Forsyth and Cherokee counties in Georgia, he maintains a solo practice that handles bankruptcy, DUI, and criminal cases, among others. He selected his legal focus based on where he saw a need for personal attention. Throughout his schooling, he noticed that clients were often left frustrated when attempting to navigate legal issues on their own. Once a practicing attorney, he noticed the firms with more than one attorney were not meeting their clients’ expectations. Michael Vereen maintains an active role in each case, starting from the first meeting with a client and continuing through the final meeting or court procedure. Mr. Vereen prepared for his career in a variety of ways. The Georgia native earned a master of laws degree from Emory Law School, a rare designation among attorneys, and a JD from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. Meanwhile, his undergraduate education was completed at Valdosta State College. Dedicated to maintaining an active presence in the professional community, Michael Vereen belongs to both the Georgia Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association. He also regularly participates in a Mastermind Collaboration alongside other bankruptcy professionals.
